- The Veterans Training Support Center (VTSC), a program of the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs and funded by the VSHSL, is dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of trauma and related issues specific to veterans, such as invisible wounds like Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Moral Injury. VTSC workshops are free, open to all, and are veteran-focused but applicable to others. More information is available here.
- Chief Seattle Club is opening up for meal services again! Members can now eat in-house meals in the dining room. This service is for registered members only. During open hours, members can also use the service window to pick up or drop off mail and pick up applications for housing and homeless prevention. Click here to learn how to become a member.
- The Washington State Department of Health and Human Services has a new series of videos meant to help clients avoid lines at DSHS offices and wait times on the phones. The videos describe how to use the self-service options, apply for services online, create a client benefit account, and complete medical-only eligibility reviews. Learn more here.
