Community Resource Center Updates – September 25, 2023

In this week’s Community Corner newsletter:

  • Did you know you don’t have to be housed to be eligible to vote? Read the 2023 Voter Guide for homeless and unstably housed votes in Washington State to learn more about your rights, where you can register to vote, and where you can return ballots. Make your voice heard!
  • King County 211 is changing its hours! Beginning October 2, 2023, King County 211 will be available for live calls, text, chat, and email support from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with on-demand texting databases remaining available 24/7. King County 211 connects people to comprehensive information on health and human services, such as housing assistance, help with financial needs, or information on the nearest food banks. Learn more about their services.
  • Mysti’s Adult and Family Services connects clients on Medicaid to rent assistance, utility help, housing support, and employment.
