Seattle Municipal Court and social service providers are coming together to provide a Community Relief Day: Seattle Tickets & Social Services Event on Friday, December 1, 2023, 10 am – 4 pm at the Public Health/Chinook Building, 401 5th Avenue, Seattle. Community members can address unpaid Seattle tickets, Seattle Municipal Court warrants, and access a range of supportive services from partnering organizations.
We are grateful to be in partnership with the following organizations for this event, and they will be on-site to provide services to the community*:
Seattle Municipal Court: Set up ticket payment plan or if eligible, community service plan; check driving records/license status; set up hearings to quash eligible warrants or for a bench warrant add on (BWADD) hearing. (Must show ID)
Seattle Parks and Recreation: Employment & training
Pioneer Human Services: Employment & training; adult education
Evergreen Goodwill: Employment & training; adult education
Public Health- Seattle & King County: Health care; health insurance
DSHS: Assistance with child support case; answer DSHS eligibility questions
LELO: Navigation and support for a suspended driver’s license
Arms Around You: Re-entry Resource Services
Life Wireless: Free government cellphones, cellular service for eligible customers
Civil Survival: Re-entry legal aid, vacate convictions, reduce legal financial obligations
